I'm Kati Hirschy, and I'm thrilled to welcome you here! As a wife, and proud mama of two, my life is a beautiful blend of family moments, creative pursuits, and capturing memories behind the lens. Alongside my roles as a children's book author and photographer, you'll often find me immersed in the enchanting world of fantasy novels, delving into epic adventures through games of dungeons & dragons, or crafting adorable plushies with my crochet hook.

While I officially embarked on this photography journey four years ago, my passion for photography has been a part of me for 18 wonderful years. With over 20 hours dedicated to newborn safety classes, I take immense pride in ensuring the utmost care and safety for the precious newborns I photograph.

My in-home studio

Welcome to my cozy in-home studio, nestled in the heart of the Irvington neighborhood in Indianapolis, Indiana, where every studio session begins. Here, you'll find a warm and inviting space where your photography dreams come to life. Clients are treated to the convenience of my client closet, boasting an extensive collection of newborn clothes, wraps, props, and backdrops. If there's something specific you're envisioning that I don't have on hand, just let me know, and I'll ensure it's ready for your session. While you're welcome to bring your own sentimental props and clothing, it's not necessary – I've got everything covered! For newborn sessions, simply fill out a questionnaire, and leave the rest to me. My goal is to make the entire process as seamless and stress-free as possible, so all you have to do is show up and enjoy the magic unfolding before your eyes.
